Terms and Conditions
(1) All listings are for one year except in the case of 'reciprocal linked' basic listings which are always free as long as the 'reciprocal link' is in place. Featured listings are only available to New Zealand businesses.
International submissions are FREE basic listings providing each submission is accompanied by
a reciprocal link back to the New Zealand Focus.
(2) NO Nude, abusive, racist, derogatory, offensive, illegal, terrorist or pornographic websites will be up-loaded onto New Zealand Focus. However photography (only) websites showing nude images which have photographic or artistic merit will be up-loaded at the discretion of the editor/s.
(3) Payment for all listings is due 7 days from the time the listing is
produced and added to the directory.
(4) Invoices are sent via e-mail attachment to reduce overhead costs so we can provide lower cost for featured listings in the directory.

Featured listings are only
available to New Zealand businesses.
(6) All featured listings (
Click here for examples and pricing ) : Hi-lighted and Interactive listings, are now ranked at the top of their relevant categories.
(7) All basic and bold listings will continue to be listed as previously, in order of their submission.
(8) Basic listings must either have a reciprocal link to remain free, or will be charged at $25.00 per inclusion. . . . . Bold listings are $45.00 per inclusion.
All 'Hi-lighted' ($55.00) and 'Interactive' ($75.00) listings are now reduced to a one time 'set up' cost.
All custom web pages will incur a one off setup cost of $150.00 to produce the web page (including contact details and email link/s etc) with the Mini hosted website of 5 pages a small $350 only.
No further fees will be charged after the inclusion invoice has been paid. The continued inclusion in the directory each year is NOW FREE for New Zealand businesses.

This decision is taken by the editor/s when it is deemed necessary.
Further categories will be included as demand dictates, so reveiwing
your listing is important. The directory provides for updating your information,
category changes and the updating of your listing to a paid featured listing in the submissions area
in this directory.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF SERVICE AGREEMENT
BY COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION FORM AND TICKING THE YES YOU AGREE WITH THE LISTING TERMS FIELD, YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, THAT YOU AGREE TO PROVIDE TRUE, ACCURATE, CURRENT AND COMPLETE INFORMATION (INCLUDING AN ACCURATE EMAIL ADDRESS), AND THAT YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT.
New Zealand Focus reserves the right, in its sole discretion, in the future, to change, modify, add or remove all or part of the agreement at any time.
DESCRIPTION OF NEW ZEALAND FOCUS SERVICE
New Zealand Focus is free submission service provided by New Zealand Focus to consider your web
site for inclusion in New Zealand Focus's main directory of web sites located at
www.new-zealand-focus.co.nz. Inclusion in the Directory is not guaranteed.
In order for New Zealand Focus to consider your site for inclusion in the Directory, you must submit valid information and email at time of registration. New Zealand Focus, however in the case of paid inclusions reserves the right to remove your site if you fail to pay the amount owing for your paid listing within 7 days .
NOTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT OBLIGATES NEW ZEALAND FOCUS TO LIST, LINK TO, ACCEPT OR OTHERWISE HOST YOUR LISTING INFORAMATION ON NEW ZEALAND FOCUS. IN ADDITION, IF YOUR SITE IS ACCEPTED, NOTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT OBLIGATES NEW ZEALAND FOCUS TO PLACE YOUR SITE WITHIN A SPECIFIC CATEGORY OR SUBCATEGORY OF THE DIRECTORY, OR TO PROVIDE ANY COMMENTS OR ANNOTATIONS WITH THE LISTING OF YOUR SITE.
MINIMUM SITE CRITERIA
All web sites submitted to the New Zealand Small Business Directory and Travel Guide must meet the following minimum criteria:
(a) New Zealand Focus is a Search Engine for Official websites. We accept submission from Official sites only. Non-Official site submission is not entertained;
(b) The site must not have any pornographic content/ objectionable or offensive content or should not malign any religious group or sentiments;
(c) If the site is a commercial web site, the official business name must be visible to any visitor to that site;
(d) The site must clearly define its purpose, products, and/or services;
(e) The site must not already appear in the Directory;
(f) The site must contain substantively unique content, as determined by New Zealand Focus's editorial staff (for example, a user who submits multiple URLs to the same content is not submitting substantively unique content);
(g) The site must not contain any parts under construction;
(h) All links on the site must work (and must link to relevant content);
(i) The site must be in the English language (or have an English version available);
(j) The site must support multiple browsers and capabilities (e.g., no Java-only sites);
(k) The site must be up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week;
(l) We do not accept free email addresses for new listing(i.e. yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc). Only listings which includes the website address or paid isp email addresses now will now be accepted for publication in New Zealand Focus.
THESE CRITERIA ARE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ONLY, AND NEW ZEALAND FOCUS, IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION, MAY CONSIDER OTHER CRITERIA BEFORE ACCEPTING OR REJECTING A SITE.
SELECTION AND LISTING
New Zealand Focus reserves the right to decide whether, where, and how a site is listed in the Directory. If New Zealand Focus accepts your site for inclusion in the Directory, New Zealand Focus will consider your preferences, but reserves the right to list your site in any category or subcategory as New Zealand Focus deems appropriate, in its sole discretion. Once New Zealand Focus accepts a site for inclusion in the Directory, that site shall be treated as any other listing in the Directory. New Zealand Focus reserves the right not to include any specific comments, or annotations with the listing of a site in the Directory.
New Zealand Focus also reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove your site from the Directory, move the listing to a different category or subcategory, at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to, a change in the nature, business, goods, or services or content available on the site with the creation of new categories and subcategories..
FEEDBACK
New Zealand Focus will contact Applicant by email describing why a site has been rejected. If the site is rejected, Applicant is entitled to request one reconsideration, or appeal, of the site by sending an email to the address provided herein (publications@new-zealand-focus.co.nz). New Zealand Focus must receive the Applicant's email within thirty days from the date that New Zealand Focus transmits the rejection email to the Applicant. If the request is timely received, New Zealand Focus will again review the Applicant's site and will then notify Applicant of its final decision regarding including the site in the Directory. If New Zealand Focus reaffirms its denial of the site, no further appeals or submissions will be considered.
If New Zealand Focus accepts a suggested site, Applicant is entitled to request one reconsideration of the placement of the site, comment fields, title, etc, by sending an email to the address provided by New Zealand Focus (publications@new-zealand-focus.co.nz). New Zealand Focus must receive the Applicant's email within thirty days from the date that New Zealand Focus emails the acceptance email to the Applicant.
PARTICIPATION
If you wish to discontinue participation in the New Zealand Focus web directory program, you must send an email to New Zealand Focus. Please state that you wish to withdraw your site from New Zealand Focus. After we have verified you are the person authorised to remove your listing on New Zealand Focus your participation in New Zealand Focus will cease and your listing will be removed at the end of the current month.
APPLICANT PRIVACY
New Zealand Focus maintains information about Applicants, including but not limited to Applicant's registration information. Applicant agrees that New Zealand Focus shall not use or distibute your information for any reason to any individual, company, organisation without your specific permission in writing, except to display you registered information in your business listing on New Zealand Focus.
New Zealand Focus may contact Applicant regarding New Zealand Focus web directory services using the Applicant's email address provided during the registration process (or as updated by Applicant).
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES AND LIABILITIES
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. NEITHER THIS AGREEMENT NOR ANY DOCUMENTATION FURNISHED UNDER IT IS INTENDED TO EXPRESS OR IMPLY ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY OR ERROR-FREE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
NEW ZEALAND FOCUS, AND ITS PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS, SHALL NOT BE LIABLE, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES OR LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORIES WHATSOEVER, FOR ANY LOSS OF BUSINESS, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY CHARACTER, EVEN IF NEW ZEALAND FOCUS IS AWARE OF THE RISK OF SUCH DAMAGES, THAT RESULT IN ANY WAY FROM APPLICANT'S USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THIS SERVICE, NEW ZEALAND FOCUS'S ACCEPTANCE OR REJECTION OF A SUBMITTED SITE, OR NEW ZEALAND FOCUS'S CONTINUED LISTING OF A SITE IN THE DIRECTORY.
NEW ZEALAND FOCUS'S LIABILITY TO APPLICANT SHALL NOT, FOR ANY REASON, EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY APPLICANT TO NEW ZEALAND FOCUS UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.
