EMIRATES TEAM NEW ZEALAND - An international look for 2007 - On June 14 2003, Emirates Team New Zealand announced a challenge for the America’s Cup with Dubai-based airline Emirates as the lead and naming rights sponsor. At that time Toyota New Zealand, a long-time supporter of New Zealand America’s Cup teams announced that it would be on board for the fifth time. The announcement was the official start of the team’s challenge for the 2007 America’s Cup.

BUCKLAND'S BEACH YACHT CLUB - The club now provides its 4000 members with excellent facilities and a first-class restaurant and bar with views over the Tamaki Estuary. Bucklands Beach Yacht Club is the biggest family club in New Zealand. The Bucklands Beach Yacht Club have sponsored children of yachting families, which has brought about their success on an international playing field. Several prominent members include international and Olympic yachtsmen and women, Bruce and Barbara Kendall, Aaron McIntosh, Nick Burfoot and Joey Allen of Team NZ.

TORBAY SAILING CLUB - has a long and successful history in developing young sailors in all the major centre-board yachting classes. From the Optimist through to the P Class, Starling, Laser and other youth classes. The Club has provided the nurturing and training environment that has enabled young sailors to achieve their potential and enjoy sailing as a sport. At Torbay we seek to develop the skills in our young sailors so they can have the necessary confidence in themselves to enjoy sailing as a sport whether they are seeking top honors from racing or prefer the alternative of cruising.
