How to add a Free Listing: Start from the categories on our homepage, for the most specific category for your site and use the "List your site" link found at the top of that page to submit your listing.

If a reciprocal link cannot be found on your site, or you are using a linking site, your listing will not be added to the directory.
We do not submit our link to individual websites.

Guidelines For Free Submission:

Submit your top-level domain only in which the predominant language is English.

Non-English sites MUST provide an English translation and can be submitted to the Regional categories only. Submission title and description must be in English.

You must submit to one category only. Please choose the most appropriate category for your site. Sites submitted to wrong categories will NOT be accepted.

Do not submit multiple times. Submitting your site multiple times per category will not improve your chances of being listed and will instead result in permanent exclusion from the directory.

Do not submit individual pages of your site (this is spamming). New Zealand Focus is not a spider's search engine. It is a human indexed directory. Individual pages of a domain are are not accepted.

The following Submissions will also not be accepted:
Mirror pages,
Doorway pages,
Sites with dead links and missing images,
Sites still under construction,
Affiliate sites or sites with only affiliate links or banners,
Sites that redirects to another address etc.
Sites with duplicate content
All of the above will be rejected without notice.
if the entry is in all capital letters.
if every word is capitalized, in the sites title or description.
if there are symbols, in the sites title or description.
if there is excessive punctuation marks or keywords in the sites title or description.
If the site title is repeated in the description.
if anything to boost your sites listing is used.
All of the above will be deleted without a review.

Submission Form Guidelines:
Form guidelines below must be followed for your free reciprocal submission to be reviewed.

Title / Business Name Guidelines:
Official Business or Company name ONLY.
DO NOT use this field for stuffing a list of keywords.
DO NOT USE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS or symbols.

Description Guidelines:
DO NOT Repeat the Title/Business Name.
Describe your services, your products, or the content of your site in 1-2 sentences Max without using a sales pitch or a question.
Avoid using words or phases such as "#1, the best, the cheapest, etc.
DO NOT USE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.
DO NOT capitalize every letter in your description
DO NOT use EXCESSIVE punctuation or exclamation marks.
DO NOT include ANY shipping information, phone numbers, prices, or URLS in your description.

URL Guidelines:
Submit your top level domain only.
DO NOT include a trailing slash.
DO NOT add individual pages of your website such as index.html, index.htm, home.html, main.html etc. in your URL. Your URL MUST end with com, net, org, ca, uk, etc. individual pages or sub-domains of your site will be rejected.

Name Guidelines:
Supplying "webmaster", "owner", or the name of your business in this field is not acceptable and it may result in rejection of your FREE reciprocal submission.

Email Guidelines:
Supplying an email address that does not match the address you provide on your website may result in rejection of your FREE submission.

DO NOT use free web based email accounts such as Yahoo, Hotmail, GMAIL, MSN, Lycos etc.

Submissions with invalid email addresses will be rejected without notice.

*Non English sites - Non English sites must provide an English translation on the site and the submission form must be filled out in English.

We will not accept sites - that promote or contain Pornography, Hate, Violence, Racial Intolerance against any individual, group, or organization, Excessive Profanity, Warez/ Hacking/Cracking content, Illicit Drugs/ Drug Paraphernalia, Excessive Advertising etc.If any of the above are found within the directory please contact us with the link.

We cannot be held responsible for the content of pages listed. If you find any offensive pages listed please report the URL and link information and we will remove the offensive listing immediately.

We reserve the right to reject any submission for any reason, as well as to remove entries or move them to other categories at any time and we reserve the right to edit your submission's title and description.

We do not make any guarantees that any site submitted manually or via automated submissions programs will be accepted.
